Rasmussen College Sponsors the Nature Valley Grand Prix

At Rasmussen College, we believe in giving back to the community. In keeping with this tradition, we are a sponsor of the Nature Valley Grand Prix. The Grand Prix is the top ranked women's stage race in North America and one of the top three men's - more importantly, the festival supports Children's Hospitals and Clinics in Minnesota by building awareness of their unique offerings.

To kick off this year's Nature Valley Grand Prix, Rasmussen College will be hosting a Women's Cycling Summit. The Rasmussen College Women's Cycling Summit is an opportunity for women to celebrate cycling, to learn about the most effective initiatives in the sport and to discuss issues of common concern.

The bike festival is a five-day celebration of cycling that takes place in cities around central Minnesota. The festival brings cycling front-and-center with professional racing, educational programming, live music, family activities and great food, creating the most visible and exciting bike event in the Midwest.

The June 19-24, 2008 schedule will be:

Wednesday - Saint Paul Lowertown Criterium
Thursday - Cannon Falls Road Race
Friday - Minneapolis Downtown Classic
Saturday - Mankato Road Race
Sunday - Stillwater Criterium
